![]() ![]() "Proflicaciousness" is the word you want. I don't even remember how much backing I had on it. When I didn't know any better as a relative noob I was using a 1595RC with a Cortland 5 weight graphite rod, and recall it being a bit butt heavy. I've owned a 1594 and a 1595 before, but it's been years. I don't intend to chase salmon or steelhead with the thing (well, intentionally anyway) but I was kind of thinking of putting it on one of my light two handers, with a shooting head / mono running line setup, or possibly using it on my Cabela's Prime 5 weight if it looks and balances well. Seemed kind of strange as I could get info on other reels of similar prolificity (I think I just made up that word) ![]() The model is the 1594RC - should be the same spool size as the 1494, but I couldn't find a capacity rating for either. For the life of me though, I couldn't find the line capacity online. I did, however just purchase one via eBay on Sunday, and it's on it's way to me now. I don't currently possess any, and I'm kicking myself for selling them. ![]() I've owned a number of Medalists over the years. ![]()
